Ich habe Probleme mit der Synchronisation meiner Adressdaten vom Smartphone auf meinem Nextcloud Server mittels DAVx5. Füge ich zum Beispiel einen neuen Kontakt auf dem Smartphone ein, wird dieser nicht mit der Datenbank auf dem Nextcloud Server synchronisiert. Dort heißt es, das die Kontakte schreibgeschützt sind. Und ich finde nirgends eine Einstellung (Nextcloud und DAVx5) wo ich den Schreibschutz entfernen kann. Weiß da jemand weiter?
Kalendereinträge funktionieren.

#DAVx5 ist ja schon genial. Warum diese Funktion allerdings kein Bestandteil vom OS ist... Versteht das jemand?

oh well losing all data after bad server crashes seem to be a known issue with #DAVx5 + #radicale.

fortunately nobody has any good solution 🫠🥴

even just backing up the server files is not super helpful bc
a) it's nontrivial to actually run a new installation with an old DB and
b) it might just sync to the clients as "delete all that server doesn't know about"

So happen that our Proxmox LXC containers all shutdown unexpectedly. Bad stuff. Then realise all users' Radicale data is gone: addresses, calendar events, tasks/reminders. I'll need to backup Radic...

non sabía, ou non me enterara, de que @davx5app movera o sistema de tradución a #weblate. En Transifex iniciara e traducira todo, pero desde que borrei a conta estaba abandonado. Non hai moito que traducir :) así que nas próximas semanas revisarei e traducirei o que estivese pendente.

Je ne sais pas vous, mais perso je trouve assez mauvaise l'intégration native de #DavX5, #eTar et #OpenTasks à /e/OS.

Les options sont pénibles à retrouver après la première configuration, et j'y trouve régulièrement des bugs pénibles. 😬

Du coup, j'installe systématiquement en plus les versions non-intégrées, issues de #Fdroid.

Schön, habe jetzt auch wieder #qownnotes unter Linux #Lubuntu installiert und mit meiner managed #Nextcloud verbunden. Hat alles super geklappt. Unter Android verwende ich dann einfach die Nextcloud #Notes App. Muss mich nur noch etwas mit Qownnotes vertraut machen. Super, dass ich damit auch die Aufgaben übersichtlich synchronisieren kann, auf Android habe ich dafür #DAVx5 und #Tasks als App. Wieder ein kleiner Schritt für mehr digitale Unabhängigkeit. Ein momentaner "Use Case" ist mein Übeplan- und Protokoll für meine Hobbys #Gitarre und #Chor. #Notizenapp #Todo

@HaraldKi @deradam001 Willkommen im Club 😏 Mit unseren #FP5 sind wir auch sehr zufrieden.

Unser Familienkalender läuft über eine eigene #Nextcloud auf unserem #Linux-Server im Hausnetz, die nur lokal erreichbar ist. Die Telefone synchronisieren #Termine und# Kontakte mittels #DAVx5, wenn sie ins heimische WLAN kommen.

@davx5app I didn't know that. Another very useful #opensource tool—made in #Europe, just like Linux, #Mastodon,HTTP,HTML,VLC,LibreOffice...

Europe has produced so much good, free software. The tech giants from the US are building their entire empire on it and now want to disempower us and force us into a dangerous dependency.

Thanks to #DAVx5, I can sync my data without #BigTech.
