Another packed issue of @Crichton_Trust magazine is out now and delighted to see #UpTheMiddleRoad #YS2022 featured. Proud to read about how the Crichton is supporting Ukrainian guests, hosting multiple events and even acting as a movie set! One interesting read:

#UpTheMiddleRoad, as part of Scotland's Year of Stories 2022, shared memories and experiences from former patients and staff of the Crichton Royal, Dumfries.

Over the summer, we invited two #Dumfries primary #schools to take part in 'learning picnics' on site. They learnt about the history of this former mental health institution through phrenology, with #artist Julie Stephen, and #storytelling, with Amanda Edmiston.

Feedback was terrific and, we hope, the start of a continuing conversation.
