Afternoon free show in the front room, first off-kilter folk from Ezekiel Healy, then heavy effects-laden violin constructions from Laura Ortman.
Then back this evening in the venue proper for a solo set from Woods' Jeremy Bradley Earl. Straight through, zero chit-chat, songwriting + some cool use of backing tracks and a few choice guitar solos. A perfect Sunday evening show, nicely done before 10.
Like hot apple cider on a frigid evening, Andrew Marlin String Band sounding sweet, spicy and plenty warm going down. Killer instrumental bluegrass for a tight sold out Union Pool.
