gom (they/them)If your #parents constantly leave you feeling #unacknowledged, #worthless, and filled with #shame, I'd like to say to you (and myself) that this is not normal. This shouldn't be so. And while I don't have any perfect solution for dealing/coping with this, I do know this:
There are other people in the world: who see us for who we really are, and even some who love us because of that; who care for us, and want us to flourish and succeed; who have our backs.
