Just 297 more days until I am set to DeGoogle from Android (2027, January 1st deadline) yet I am so far behind on my APK backup goal. I currently have my eyes on this phone to replace my aging and heavily damaged Samsung Galaxy S20:

I hope it actually comes to fruition. However, I have alternatives in place if it doesn't.

Tired of Google's Tracking? Motorola's GrapheneOS-Powered Phones Are Coming

You won't need to pay Google for using GrapheneOS soon.

It's FOSS

Leave big tech behind! How to replace Amazon, Google, X, Meta, Apple – and more

A handful of companies monopolise the web, with unprecedented access to our data. But there are many more ethical – and often distinctively European – alternatives

Google Maps? Get away from it.
It is broken when you need registration and being tracked on WWW:

Use OpenStreetMap.

I am trying to backup not just the app, but all associated data (save progress, configurations, source code, binaries, everything) Data on these apps goes all the way back to 2009 or earlier.
I want this Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (almost 6 years old now) to be my final Android device.
Am I doing this right? Is my data bundled inside the APK/APK+ files? Are they installable (in a virtual machine, sometime in the future)
Android has been one of the 3 major hurdles I still can't cross to degoogle my life (the other 2 being YouTube, and Golang (which seems to be used on so many programs I use) GMAIL is a 4th hurdle, but it is a lot smaller. A lot of the apps are Internet based, and won't run, but I still value their preservation.

As if only Jabra and Apple are competent enough as a company to implement Bluetooth things well.

Also if you use Android without Google package or Iphone, you are still at risk because your phone won't pair it to Googles tracking network.

For many devices, the only way to prevent anyone from setting a google tracking account owner key in the headset is to set one yourself -> binding your headset to a google account and have it tracked by google.

Can we fucking burn down all this shit?
