All of the faculty in my department at #UMassAmherst got some of the sycophantic AI-generated phishing spam. I've been seeing this stuff for so long, I didn't think much about it. But for most of the faculty it's something new. Ugh.
The #UMassAmherst campus has delayed opening until 11am this morning, presumably due to ice accumulation overnight. Not that it would matter for me, as I work remotely and, further, it's my period of non-responsibility. I'll just have to see how non-responsible I can be this morning. #WesternMass

The #UMassAmherst Associate Provost for Faculty Development came to my house to bring me lunch and deliver a plaque for my Delphi Leadership Award. We had a nice chat in my tent over Indian food. I was very gratified to receive this award in recognition of my service to non-tenure-track faculty.
