Striking Los Angeles education workers speak out on second day of strike

Unable to continue slaving away for poverty wages in one of the most expensive cities in the world, thousands of education workers, including janitors, cafeteria workers, maintenance staff and teachers continued to publicly demonstrate on Wednesday.

Volunteered at a solo and ensemble festival yesterday. Saw some amazing young performers. Went on a disappointing bike ride. Still can't get to the river easily with a city bike. Made pasta for dinner. Today's plan is to get coffee with the wife, do the taxes, and some lesson plans. Don't have to do much because of the strike though. #MusicTeacher #Bike #UTLAStrong
