U.S. marks flood anniversary, urges Libyan unity

The U.S. Embassy in Libya has urged all major Libyan factions to engage constructively with the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) to reduce the ongoing tensions in the country. Marking the first anniversary of the floods that devastated Derna and the Green Mountain region, the embassy stressed the importance of reviving the political process to secure a long-term resolution that guarantees Libya's stability and prosperity.
