Today ends the second UN Plastic Treaty, a few days before #WorldOceansDay. "Global problems require global cooperation - I hope that all countries can come to the table to discuss our growing plastic pollution problem," says Linda Ameral-Zettler, plastic waste researcher at NIOZ. For her and other researchers, it's every day World Oceans Day.
