Celebrating Takaya Aoyagi's birthday with a little cake for Jugglus Juggler #ultramanorb

Finished up Ultraman Orb: The Origin Saga and I liked it quite a bit! It was a new way for me to enjoy Ultraman, with a different kind of story and setting. It was also my first experience with a series where a band of Ultras join together for a common goal.

Up next will be another Orb spinoff, the one-off Ultra Fight Orb special, which will be my first time with an Ultra Fight or Stars type series.

And I think I already know where I am going next in the Ultraverse after I finish all of the Orb stuff...

A couple of episodes into the Orb Origin Saga, and it's definitely a different kind of Ultra series than I'm used to. It's mostly a space opera, and I even get slight Tenchi Muyo! vibes from it, of all things, with it having a tree-based society where much of the story takes place.

Looking forward to seeing Orb's backstory, and also the origin of Juggler, from the looks of things!

The Ultraman Orb movie has the best character special appearance ever!

If you know, you know.

Finished up Ultraman Orb, and it's yet another installment which I enjoyed quite a bit. The story and conflict were much smaller in scale than some of the other Ultra series. Having Juggler in the mix is always fun, since he's actually one of my favorite characters, not just because of his ambiguous alignment, but he's also completely unhinged.

Next up will be the Orb movie, and then on to the Orb Origin series!

I had suspected Naomi being related to Natasha for a while now, and that is finally confirmed. I liked Naomi from the start for genki reasons and her endearing clumsiness, but to know she's a major part of the story is even better.

Also cool to see Orb's final(?) form revealed with Orb Origin and the mighty Orbcalibur!

Halfway through Ultraman Orb, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Naomi quickly became one of my favorite supporting characters from all the Ultra series I've seen so far, up there with Yuka from Z (my #1 favorite), Asahi from R/B, and Laiha from Geed.

The inclusion of a couple of notable characters I first saw in a later Ultra series is also most welcome, where I get to see them earlier on in the timeline. They bring a nice unpredictable layer to the story. (Names withheld so I don't have to spoiler tag this post.   )

SSP standing for Something Search People in Ultraman Orb makes me think of Nantoka Beam in SSSS.DYNAZENON.
