While I was out of the UK last October, someone drove into my front garden, causing a whole lot of property damage. As it's a council estate, my neighbour and I have spent 3 months chasing the council to put everything right. Today we've been informed that part of the damage is on us.
We've got the police ref no, but how do I get the driver's insurance details to chase up payment for the rest?
