According to Zillow, the median monthly rent in the US is $2050 (which is on a downward trend).
Under my proposed #TwoPercentOfRent #MinimumWage --wherein the minimum hourly wage is 2% of the median monthly rent for a single residential unit in the county where the work is to be performed--that translates to a median minimum wage of $41/hour.
$25/hour is too low for 2024. We can't afford to let it stagnate for decades again, either.
