The main way I consumed Twitter over the years was via third-party iOS clients like Tweetbot or Twitterific. IMO it was the only way to get a half-decent Twitter experience. I stepped away from Twitter a few months ago; without third-party clients, there isn’t much reason for me to go back. #TwitterClients #Twitter

#TwitterClients used to be a hotbed for new design ideas, too. Not just the whimsy of features like “Twoosh!” splashing on the screen when you tweeted exactly 140 characters, but also novel interaction models that have since become commonplace.
