Twisted Games gave me major Princess Diaries vibes and was also a sort of reverse Cinderella story, which I also loved. The plot kept me thoroughly hooked. I also have a major soft spot for characters that have a tortured past. 🥲 And I absolutely love it when there's solid character development around that. This book delivers!

The enemies to lovers trope really works in #TwistedHate and I enjoyed Jule's back story. The plot is more interesting than #TwistedGames but still not as crazy as #TwistedLove. Unfortunately, none of the romance really did anything for me. Josh mostly comes across as an ass - not the brooding, sexy kind, but the grow up and get over yourself kind - and a lot of the bedroom scenes were just kind of... uncomfortable.

I was hoping for more Alex and Ava. While Twisted Love thrives on being off-the-wall crazy, Twisted Games is bland. Bridget and Rhys have hardly any chemistry, the story is predictable, and I'm tired of reading about possessive men who like rough sex.
