We are now well into the fall season, the first episodes have now aired for almost every anime series for this season. As your resident ikemen expert here at MANGA.TOKYO, I have put together a list of the ikemen anime that are airing this season! These are not anime that just happen to have beautiful guys in the cast, these are anime that revolve ENTIRELY around the hot cast. Ikemen? Bishounen? Bidanshi? Bidanshi is just another word that also translates to the same thing. As you may guess, it refers to young (often adolescent) boys tilting slightly towards the effeminate side. Ikemen, on the hand, are 'handsome guys'. Usually fully-grown men, they steer a little more to the sexy and masculine side. I am not into idols, male or female, as I've always thought that they make terrible role models. I don't know how indicative Tsukipro the Animation is of the idol industry in general, but what I saw was not appealing. Four groups of ridiculously attractive and multi-talented men, who manage to tackle their busy lives while still looking fabulous and super successful, will have to share a day of absolute music fame by performing at Budokan for their label's, Tsukipro, annual concert. The music anime Tsukipro The Animation is showing the day-to-day life of male idols, who are active in the music business. The anime is based on audio dramas and songs that tell the stories of the idols. It follows the series Tsukiuta, which comes from the same source. The bands involved in Tsukipro are Soara, Growth, SolidS and Quell. The series will start on 4 October 2017. And while we have to wait for the first episode for a bit longer we can enjoy the preview stills of Episode 1 which have been released. The pictures show off the leaders of each band. Additionally a promotion video was uploaded to their official website, in the background you can hear the song 'Burny!!!' by SolidS, with Takuya Eguchi on vocals. Furthermore, the free Animate magazine Kyarabi TV, which introduces new anime, will use an illustration of Tsukipro as the cover of volume 29. It started being distributed today, 11 September 2017 and will be available while supply lasts.
