In Star Trek, would Quark and Guinan have been friends and gotten along if Guinan worked as a bartender in Quarks bar on Deep Space 9?

Jason Harry Hubbard's answer: Yes, in a way. I don’t think Guinan was ever ‘about profit’ (I think drinks were “free” on the Enterprise). Maybe Quark’ll have a tab set up for each crew-member, resident & guest. So Guinan can focus on getting everyone’s favorite drinks while doling out wisdom.
