Celebrating Love a Tree Day Early! 💚🌳

We couldn’t wait until May 16th to honour our green friends! To mark Love a Tree Day, we gathered around one of Stratford Park’s oldest trees to celebrate our new Tree Management Policy.

This policy outlines our commitment to protecting, caring for, and growing trees across the district. It recognises just how vital they are for our wildlife, climate resilience, and community wellbeing. 🌿

A huge thank you to the volunteers from Stroud Valleys Project, who took a well-deserved break from their work in the Sensory Garden to join the celebration. Together, we’re growing a greener future!
