We're planning a trip to Kiel and learned there's an ongoing bit of rail #infrastructure drama on the "eastern" route from Flensburg to Kiel.

It seems the Lindaunis bridge has been closed for some years, requiring passengers to cross a temporary bridge by foot (#TrainReplacementFootBridge). Both sides of the bridge have a temporary train station.

So we will naturally take this touristic route instead of the more direct Rendsburg one. Fun! :-)
