For six months, our union has been campaigning for improvements to the basic rate of pay and an enhanced Christmas bonus. For six months, Abtran has consistently claimed that they do not engage with us, insisting that their terms and conditions are competitive and that they deal directly with their workers. However, our union has ample evidence of unanswered grievances, emails, and complaints about pay and working conditions. As the Toy Show Appeal airs today, we call on @rtenews, @rteone, and @patrickielty to raise this issue with @WeAreAbtran. There are many mammies and daddies working hard in Abtran who aren't going to get much use out of a 50 euro voucher.
