I am a fan of the Torque Test Channel on YouTube. They are known for testing various tools and implements in an as-scientific-as-possible testing environment. They do not have sponsors, nor do they do any memberships, so they are as unbiased as they can be.

I think it was with a channel lock wrench that turning it similar to how shown, with the fix end at back, made it much easier to turn in that the loading on the adjustable handle was virtually eliminated.

There's a reason tools are designed the way they were and having changed in the last 100 or so years. L
