"The purpose was to investigate the history of a #place by using the information provided through #LinkedOpenData #LOD #searchengines and databases. We start with Peripleo, the LOD-based search engine of #Pelagios, which connect several partnered datasets by using #places as the common ground.

Through #Peripleo, we had access to a massive set of #numismatic resources, including #Nomisma. Textual sources were collected through #ToposText, for its focus on locations."
