The final set is my DeviantArt #Top9
Out of all of my social media pages, I've been on DeviantArt the longest. I tend to get the most interest in my artwork there, but also I'm often surprised by what people like there.
Note how little overlap there actually is between these sets, despite posting the same content to each of these places, albeit in different formats in terms of accompanying content.
The third set is my Facebook #Top9
A lot of the people who see my work on Facebook have known me longer than people on other social media sites, which I think influences what they like. They are more likely to judge my work on emotional context rather than concept and execution.
The second set is my Instagram #Top9
What I post there is a combination of art with astrological content, with the astrology being the less visible side of the equation there than it is on Twitter, and therefore less of a factor in determining what people liked.
I haven't been on Mastodon long enough to have a #Top9 here. But it occurred to me that it would be interesting to see my Top 9 visual arts images for 2022 on each of 4 different social media platforms.
So, the first set is my Twitter Top 9. I am certain that the stats on these were heavily influenced by my inclusion of astrological commentary with them, so I have to take their popularity versus the rest of my offerings with a bit of salt.
Ich hätte andere 9 gewählt…. 😉
Dennoch vielen Dank für die zahlreichen Likes und ein gutes, besseres neues Jahr 2023!
