5 things I do when the world is demanding too much of me.

Because let’s be real… the world is demanding.

It pulls. It pokes. It expects.

And some days, I wake up already stretched thin - before I’ve even poured my coffee.

So here are 5 things I do when it’s all too much:

✨ I leave my phone - not forever. Just long enough to hear myself think.

✨ I do one rebellious act of slowness.

(I sit down before I “deserve” it.

I stare out the window.

I light a candle just because.)

✨ I whisper “I get to choose”

like a mantra, like a spell,

until my nervous system believes me.

✨ I let the overwhelm be witnessed — in my journal, in my body, with a friend.

Not fixed. Just seen.

✨ I remember that I’m allowed to put everything down.

Even the stuff I said yes to.

Even the stuff I care about.

Because my energy is sacred.

And I don’t owe it to everyone.
