Janne FantasticJust rewatched Tokyo Fist, an all-time top 20 film for me and it still held up. Unlike the faces in the film that all got split open.

A ★★★★★ review of Tokyo Fist (1995)
It's as if the bloodiest shots of blood-spurting broken noses in Raging Bull had a punk-baby with David Cronenberg's Crash but instead of cars its fists. It's also a bit like Fight Club where a nobody need to take punches to the face to feel something, but to paraphrase Sylvester Stallone in Tango & Cash: "Fight Club is a pussy." Helena Bonham Carter wasn't even allowed to join the fights and start piercing herself to oblivion. It also didn't have the energy of Crank: High Voltage. It also wasn't a love story. So yeah, this is better in all possible ways.
