Another chapter done! Chapter 42 in the bag
I'm pleased. It was *very* cold in the writing hut today at 5'C
(That was with overnight heating - I've turned it up for tonight)
I did three short sessions and knocked up a thousand words

Sometimes I wonder why I am doing this 🙄 ... but I know, really 😜

I still have only the sketchiest idea about how it will resolve
I have eight chapters, 16k words, to do it in. In theory

Chapter 22 awaits & there are four potential crisis points to work into the narrative:
>Betty, the key person at the tearoom, tests positive for Covid
>Jack goes AWOL
>There is an outbreak of climate grief in the ranks
>A stash of old letters is discovered in the attic
