Just been round fascinating 'Lancaster Slavery Family Trees' exhibition at Lancaster City Museum – on until 26 Feb 2023. Well worth a visit for insight into how the wealth of 18th century #lancaster was built on #TheSlaveTrade.

Great job from Lancaster Black History Group and loads of local people researching a shadowy part of our history.

The textile banner by Sewing Café Lancaster is very powerful.
