On our first day in Scotland, on the way to Glenmorangie House, we stopped at The Singleton at Glen Ord for a tour. Jess & I did the tour together, which was followed by a small tasting and some shopping in the distillery shop. I previously posted the bottles I picked up there.

It was a very pleasant visit, and an interesting tour. Especially in light of the next day at Glenmorangie, where the different scale and approaches to different aspects in the process (like wooden washbacks at Glen Ord and stainless steel at Glenmorangie) were clear. If you're ever in the Loch Ness area, Glen Ord is worth a visit.

The day we arrived in Inverness, on the way up to the Glenmorangie House, we did some sightseeing. We stopped by Loch Ness, and then we visited The Singleton at Glen Ord and took the tour.

After the tour I picked up three bottles in the shop - The Singleton at Glen Ord Distillery Exclusive and the 2024 Special Edition 'Autumn Walk' 14 year, and a Cameron Bridge 26 year 2022 Special Release Single Grain.
