Every sunday when Thomas walked through the park, he'd see old man Henry sitting under the marquee reading a book out loud, except this time when he noticed the flora and fauna seemed dull. Sad even. He asked about Henry at the book store across the street and they told him he had become too ill to go outside any longer.

Thomas looked at the park for a while, picked a book, went over to the marquee, and read until everything regained its luster.
