I'm listening again to The Great Eastern, "Newfoundland's cultural magazine," the radio masterpiece from the late 90s. To make it easier to get the shows I made an RSS feed you can pop into your podcast program.

This is outstanding comedy and satire done with a completely straight face.

Speaking of #Stocks, here's my 20£ share of the Great Eastern Steam Navigation Company because of course that's hanging on my wall. This company built, and failed under the financial folly of #TheGreatEastern, the largest ship in the world at the time. Designed by #JohnScottRussell and built by #IsambardKingdomBrunel it had the honor of transporting #JulesVerne across the #Atlantic for his only trip to the United States. It also deployed the Transatlantic telegraph cable! pretty cool! #History
