Watched the final installment last night. Do try to catch it.
#TheAustralianWars
Moving, shocking, hidden history. The last massacres in the Kimberley were only in 1929. My parents were children. In only 24 years I was born. So close, as we learned from the vital oral history, handed down among indigenous Australians, now being heard where the written history is so lacking.
I could write a whole essay about it.

Watching #TheAustralianWars on bbc4, really excellent watch. And as an Irish person, it's important to remember that when they talk about atrocities and massacres committed by settlers against aboriginal peoples, that's Irish history, we took a part in that.
Watched 1st episode of #TheAustralianWars on #BBC4. Next eps available on iplayer so will be watching sooner rather than later.
Tough but important #Australian history lesson on my flight home to Sydney. If you haven't watched #TheAustralianWars documentary series by #RachelPerkins, then I recommend you do so before casting your vote for the #VoiceToParliament #Referendum.
I’ve just finished watching #TheAustralianWars with Rachel Perkins, making this journey.
Please, please watch this, educate yourself.
