Not In Order
We went to the Art Institute of Chicago to see Hokusai’s The Great Wave. One of the three prints from the museum is on display until the 6th of January.
The museum takes out one of the prints every 5 years. I already saw one of them 5 years ago. I remembered it bigger. I was also expecting the boats to be yellow because they are yellow in other prints. Still menacing and beautiful.
After the museum we ate bibimbap at Kim’s Korean cuisine and Sushi.
Three generations in this photoMy Top Podcast in 2024 was The Pen Addict. Dangerous if you don’t want to buy more pens.
It was Thanksgiving and we made again Mama Stamberg’s Cranberry Relish. It’s bright pink and perfect for turkey leftovers sandwiches.
One of my birthday presents was a kit to open oysters. I’m the only one that likes them at home. I haven’t tried it yet but I think an otter would be more effective.

On The Road is one of the few books that I have re-read several times. I want to read it again after listening to Kerouac reading some of it. (via Noted by Jillian Hess)

I updated The List after a few months, it’s not complete but it never is.
