i really think #tempestPHP is the #PHP framework of the future
it provides a clean, slick foundation from which you can build whatever application or simple website you want
you can even just use parts of it in other projects
and they just released version 3.0.0

i only dabbled a little bit into it so far, but what i see is impressive
i still try to get my head around it - i wasn't that much into PHP lately and the language itself has made a huge leap since the old 5 and 7 days
but i really really like it so far

Tempest, the PHP framework that gets out of your way

Tempest is a modern framework designed to enable developers to write as little framework-specific code as possible, so that they can focus on application code instead.

Submitted my first issue for Tempest earlier, a weirdly specific bug that only manifests on Windows. Not likely to affect many folks in production, but could be annoying for developers. #PHP #TempestPHP

#TempestPHP has better docs than Laravel

Introduction — Tempest

Tempest is a framework for PHP development, designed to get out of your way. Its core philosophy is to help you focus on your application code, without being bothered hand-holding the framework.

Been poking about in #TempestPHP for the last week or so. It's pretty much exactly what I would expect a modern #PHP framework to be. I know plenty of folks love #Symfony and #Laravel - they are popular for a reason - but neither has ever really excited me. Tempest does. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

@hellpat @php_discussions Exactly! I don’t have a specific favorite. I don’t like twig and I don’t like facades 😅

I’m curious where #tempestphp will end. Looks promising!
