A blow-by-blow account of yesterday's walk from High Peak Junction to Middleton Top. I can feel all 718 feet of elevation gain in 2,000 yards of inclines in my calves this morning.
Today's walk has involved a stagger up the inclines from High Peak Junction to Middleton Top. It's a beautiful route, replete in memories of the industrial past, but exhausting!
