[1/2] Die zweite Präsentation bleibt beim Thema Barrierefreiheit und Ulrike Fischer zeigt einige unterschiedlichen Varianten um #TeXLaTeX nach #HTML zu wandeln.
Ein Ansatz, den ich zum Beispiel für das frühere Backend der @datenschleuder umgesetzt hatte, um epub mitzuliefern.

Es wird #tex4ht, #Pandoc, #LaTeXML, #lwarp und auch der Weg via #NGPDF (HTML aus den #TaggedPDF) gezeigt und verglichen.

The first talk of day 2 #TUG2024 is given by @michal_h21 (#tex4ebook / #tex4ht) who is presenting on rmodepdf which is a tool to convert websites to ebook reader friendly pdf documents. I guess then converting to epub is also not a bit issue. It uses the reader mode and is using luaxml to process the html.

It's interesting to see it also the other way round. As he is usually known for #TeXLaTeX to #html facing different issues.

A month ago, I first released emo, my package supporting emoji on all #LaTeX engines. 3 weeks ago, I added support for rendering to HTML with #LaTeXML. Yesterday, I added support for rendering to HTML with #TeX4ht. Both #MiKTeX and #TeXLive now distribute emo. @ACM: I'd say it's time to add emo to the list of approved #TeXLaTeX packages and provide a supported way for using emoji in ACM papers.
