Someone asked a question about how cloud computing can support education and specifically learning te reo Māori. The answers were decidedly lacking in an indigenous lens, and included things like using cameras and AI/ML to take roll call of students…..

I asked a question later and began that by responding to the previous question, pointing people to the amazing work that #tehikumedia are doing, and pointed them towards @keoni

#TeHikuMedia is an indigenous-owned, not-for-profit organization, whose tech arm have launched a project to teach #VoiceRecognition software to understand #TeReoMāori, the first language of #Aotearoa.
