Scientists found a 70,000-year-old Denisovan lower jaw near Taiwan, confirming their existence outside Siberia and Tibet and their spread across East Asia.

“Penghu 1,” named after the island, was identified using advanced protein analysis and belonged to a man. It provides new insights into human evolution and migration.
