@Benbot

I've had good results using https://tabletopaudio.com/ for my own games, running it on my phone connected to small Bluetooth speakers for ambient music.

Also made decent use of https://www.obsidianportal.com/ before, which has a pretty approachable system for setting up wikis.

I'm a fan of Dyson's maps as well - https://dysonlogos.blog/maps/ but your mileage may vary.

Tabletop Audio - Premium Ambient Audio

Professionally produced, user supported, advertising-free ambient audio.

This week follows some significant personal news that definitely had me distracted. Checking in with the fediverse was a good grounding. https://apollolemmon.com/2023/09/24/social-digest-2023-09-17-2023-09-23/
#TabletopAudio Temple of the Eye - A track of the highest craftdwarfship. It is banded with ominous tones and menaces with whispered voices.
Next session of #dnd over, one of the bigger adversaries for this act taken down. Very glad that we're keeping on the ball with the sessions, as opposed to the ”once a month, maybe“ that we had to make do with for a while. Tried #tabletopaudio for the first time - went OK. A few minor quibbles, but “7/10 would use it again “. Brought out # thechronodex, group liked it. Used "Leroy Jenkins“ achievement to much delight.
Finally, another #DND session scheduled for tonight, running the party through act2 of #ENPublishing oldschool "To slay a dragon”. Act1 went real well, taught me a lot about DMing sandbox-y stuff. I'm having to rewrite Act2 a good bit, as I'm none too happy with the format, but that's fine. Unfortunately, our internet is currently not working, so I won't be able to use #Tabletopaudio https://tabletopaudio.com/ for the first time.
