Next session of #dnd over, one of the bigger adversaries for this act taken down. Very glad that we're keeping on the ball with the sessions, as opposed to the ”once a month, maybe“ that we had to make do with for a while. Tried #tabletopaudio for the first time - went OK. A few minor quibbles, but “7/10 would use it again “. Brought out # thechronodex, group liked it. Used "Leroy Jenkins“ achievement to much delight.
Next #dnd #ToSlayADragon session. This one had no combat, all interaction and social. I feel these days like I'm not succeeding at advancing the story as much as I should / it needs. I restructured the 2nd Act drastically, keeping a lot of the content, but practically none of the mechanics / structure. Expect the party to acquire the first of the four artifacts to kill the dragon in the next session, and that would be 4 sessions into the act. 1/2
At an assumed rate of 2 session for each of the remaining artifacts, we'd take 3 more months to finish Act 2 (we're roughly playing biweekly at the moment). Having a hard time to balance ”rushing through” vs ”lagging” right now. #GMselfdoubts
My wife decided to draw her character for our #DND game, so for #inktober I give you: Fren'Iaqu, the (Level 4) Dragonborn Bard, descendant of a white dragon.
