The #Czech_Republic plans to transfer 30 modernized #T_72M4CZ tanks to #Ukraine, #Radio_Prague International reports. Chief of the #Czech General Staff #Karel_Řehka will recommend that the government hand over the tanks free of charge once repairs are completed. The upgraded #T_72s feature a 1,000 hp #British Perkins engine, #DYNA_72 reactive armour, and the #Czech_Israeli #TRALL anti-mine system.

The percentage of losses of the 2016 #T_72 is decreasing - this no longer produced modernization of this tank is gradually receding into history thanks to the efforts of the #Ukrainian Defence Forces.

The percentage of simplified modernization of the 2022 model is gradually increasing. The rest is occupied by unmodernized #T_72s produced back in the #USSR.
