New Arrival at AVAV Towers

OnDigital Promo Mug. Never seen one before

Will add to related pile of OnDigital Tat. Inc PoS material, Illuminated Dealer Ship Sign etc

OnDigital was short lived Brand of Digital Terrestrial TV in UK
Coverage was poor & encoding was absolutely shit

It soon went bust, to be replaced by ITV Digital. It soon went bust too - crippled by dodgy cards - which were funded by Murdoch, with the intention of causing it to fail. Bastard

Its now Freeview

Wall Socket and Cable from British Relay

“TV by Wire” started in the 60s, mostly New Towns, which were fairly easy to cable during construction

Most areas had 4 TV Channels - BBC 1 & 2, newly launched ITA (ITV) & second neighbouring Regional ITA Service

8 Radio Channels were offered, Inc Radio Luxembourg in the evening

You could subscribe to just the Service or Rent a compatible TV. It offered Colour from day one in ‘67

We’ve gone full circle
