classic Mexican film Viento Negro, Trains, and Orphans?

Many recent films show how orphans can triumph over difficulty, with friends and community. We have The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Le Grimoire d’Arkandias, Babamın Kemanı, and the Netflix series 3%, but what about this forgotten classic film, Viento Negro (Black Wind)? The intersection of technology, or the building of and with technology, human error, coming of age, and of community end with the hope inspired by a very young orphan. This film is more heroic, in my opinion, and more realistic, than any of the aforementioned films and the series, but also even perhaps a bit more hopeful. In this film, the determination and hope of a very small boy inspires, or revives, the will to live in an old and angry engineer. The plot is that this engineer is tasked with laying the first railroad line across the Mexican desert. His son is a qualified engineer, as well, in his late teens or early twenties, but the father refuses to allow his ambitious ephebe onto the project. So, the son strikes off on his own, with friends. Of course, tragedy strikes, and the father is left with only his tiny valet, an orphan camp follower of sorts, as the rail line is completed. This tiny orphan ends up saving the father, in the end, and it is one of the most heroic and beautiful scenes that I can recall seeing in almost any show. Well worth finding this 1965 film, which seems to be available on YouTube and elsewhere for free.
