@omegatotal @dplattsf @vees That is actually a good tip -- in case every cabbie in the world is fired and none of my three vehicles functions, and there's no ride from a friend, no bus, no train, and no other way to get somewhere I MUST go, forcing me to climb into a driverless vehicle.

I'd say the chances are slim that I'll ever get into a taxi without a human at the wheel.

I finally deleted my Linkedin account and the app from my phone. I wasn't using it a lot anyway, but it does suck a lot that every damn company is feeding into the "AI" (LLM) craze these days. Their "opt out of us stealing your data"-policy is disgusting and causes people who use their website/app a lot less to lose their stuff by default into feeding another data stealing monster.

Fuck anyone who uses generative "AI".
