If the #SuperMetroid remake is real, my checklist is the following:
- Responsive to play
- Give the authentic Metroid experience, and an "easy" mode for newcomers.
- Sequence Break is mandatory
- Expand on the #MetroidZeroMission events and lore
- Remove what didn't work, rework what did.
It's a BIG task to remake a Top 10 Greatest Game of All-Time. I expect a failure more than critical acclaim.

On the dawn of the #NintendoDirect, I will say that a #SuperMetroid remake has to be a great game, not just "good".
My hope is that, whoever decided to make the hypothetical remake, should have understood that they wouldn't catch lightning in a bottle like the original team did.
