No-fucking-around winter is coming. Used the last day of my holiday break to make room in the garage for my car.
I work from home and usually if I have to take an extra 15 minute to scrape my windshield before I go for my old guy coffee at McDonald's in the morning, no problem. A nice thing about working from home is weather and when the sun sets is of almost no concern to me. I really can't give a fuck. But back when I had to get my ass every morning to the commuter train it was a lot more important I had the car in the garage. My wife does put her car in the garage on the left side. Though she also works from home, she has a greater tendency to need to jump in the car and go ASAP (e.g., daughter needs to be picked up from school).
But anyway, nice now to have an option when it's -15c or winds just might blow the front yard tree onto my car.
