Dear fedi inmates:

Stop telling everyone that fedi is better. It seems haughty in the extreme. Just say, "Hey new folks, welcome! Here are some helpful tips for improving your experience here." That's all you need to say. Let them figure some things out for themselves. I can assure you that no one cares that we're not corporate or that it's chronological or that there's no algorithm or whatever other nonsense we tell ourselves to make ourselves feel better about the fact that we're massively unpopular and that we treat POC like shit.

"Fedi is so much better," is something they have to learn for themselves. Or rather, they need to learn that by not encountering a bunch of dipshits treating them shittily and telling them that fedi is better. Show, don't tell. Prove that fedi is better by being better than Bluski.
