This river has a small native population of sturgeon. In April they put egg mats out when they're spawning. They check the mats every day.
There is a trailer rearing facility by the river, and fertilized eggs are raised in river water pumped through the trailer until NOW.
They have kids (mostly) release them, and members of the local tribal council, and then anyone interested.
