Not a yarny post, but I took some time to unwind this afternoon, and went for a walk with kiddo (as per their request).
We stopped by a street library and found this cute lil book for them. They loooooove books.
Sometime, you need to put crafting on pause to enjoy the fresh (freezing) air outside, and add a little bit of whimzy to your life.
Now, back to the regular broadcast: working on my tunisian crochet shawl!!

It's a powerful, empathetic glimpse into the challenges and superpowers of health care workers at the epicentre of the pandemic in this country.
I was largely insulated from the effects of the early pandemic in covid-free Canberra, so I found it really moving.
