From good authority: if #Norfolk County Council concede defeat over the Norwich Western Link Road they would have to acknowledge functional bankruptcy.

What they have done is "bank" ex transport secretary Harper's "pledge" to pay for the £274m project given during the final months of the Tory government when pledges were given like confetti.

Tories got to #Tory, but this is like heading to Las Vegas on the promise of an elderly aunt's "i'll leave everything to you".

The fundamental dishonesty of Norfolk County Council Roadies, in attempting to encircle Norwich with a third ring road by building in sections and giving them misleading descriptions as with "Northern Distributor" , is reason enough to thwart them. The Electorate is done with Governance by lies.

Norfolk Tory MPs presently doing their nut about their precious sodding county-busting motorway to Brexit Barclay will be in the political dustbin within 6 months (those who haven't already jumped by declaring they "won't be standing"). They were on the wrong side of history, and will very shortly become history - a mere footnote of folly, wastefulness, denial and atrocious leadership.
