TIL that iphone .HEIC photos taken in "spatial" mode (available on newer pro models,) which can be viewed in 3d on a vision pro headset, also contain an old-school stereo image pair that you can extract with Image Magick like:
magick original.heic %d.png
...which should give 3 numbered images.
I *think* 1 is left and 2 is right, not sure yet
...from there it's a hop, skip and a jump to cropping them square and making an OG #stereoscope card
