Although I can't be there in person, my thoughts are at dear #StephanHarding's memorial at Dartington today.

Among many other accomplishments, the creator of the #DeepTimeWalk and author of #AnimateEarth, which changed me.

But above all, the way he walked on our Earth, his excitement to share his insights, and the energies he brought to each moment.

What beautiful, essential wonderment he leaves as his legacy, as his atoms return to Gaia's tighter embrace:

Yes, deeply sad news, as well as the passing of dear #StephanHarding the same week, their resident ecologist, #DeepTimeWalk creator, and a good friend.

In potentially happier news though, I hear there are talks about Schumacher College potentially living on in a new form (finally divorced from the Dartington Hall Trust).

Early days, naturally, but fingers firmly crossed for a beautiful phoenix unleashed yet, under that storied name...

What a week, hearing of the demise of both #SchumacherCollege and their luminescent resident ecologist #StephanHarding (https://animate-earth.org/2024/09/03/in-memory-of-stephan-harding/ )

I still remember our first walk through the forest, sensing that his love for such places ran even deeper than mine.

His showing me that my love for woodland — such a precious piece of my heart — was diminished, because the great English forests were long gone by the time I was born...

What a man, and what a legacy he leaves:
